The drill is used to drill holes in masonry, thanks to the uniquely designed TCT (tungsten carbide tipped) bit.

A percussion (hammer action) drill with a 3-jaw chuck is required. Pre-adjust the depth gauge on the drill bit to reach the correct depth before drilling into walls.
