A low-speed rotary drill with a planetary gearbox is required for use with boring bits. It is possible to use a cordless drill, but on the lowest gear.
Specifications
- The drill bits have 4 cutting edges that leave a cleaner and more precise hole.
- Using the same designed screw tip as a twist drill - the 4 flute drill bit feeds itself.
- The shank can be clamped in a 6.35mm quick change chuck or a standard 3-jaw chuck. It also prevents slipping in a chuck.
- The drill edges have been hardened and stay sharper for longer.
- The flutes are designed to have excellent chip/chip clearance.
- 4 cutting edges mean faster cutting and greater durability.
