Mild Steel Welding Electrodes, Super 5 E6103, are high quality rutile coated general purpose electrodes for all position welding. SUPER 5 E6013 has little splash and smoke, the initial attack and reattack are excellent. Slag is easily detached from fillet and butt welds, in most cases it is self-elevating. The appearance of the weld is excellent. E6013 mild steel electrodes produce very smooth and flat weld deposits, which provides good wetting and surface penetration for thin sheet metal applications when using smaller diameter electrodes. With sufficient penetration also for welding medium gauge steel, E6013 electrodes are a multifunctional electrode that provides a smooth, constant arc that is easily regenerated, easy slag control for vertical down welding, little spatter and a beautiful bead appearance. E6013 electrodes can be used in any position with AC or DC polarity, forward or reverse.
